To achieve the 2.2.a, which is Advance a Shared Vision, I plan to learn about Nebo School Districts board and how they function. I plan to study which departments take care of which things. I will take some of the aspects of education that I feel passionate about, such as teaching life and social skills in education and reach out to the appropriate facilitators and engage with them in a manner that helps me to have an impact on education as a leader.
This will connect to the Leader standard because it allows me to take my influence as an educator and to help shape and influence the quality of education that my students are getting. This will help my future as an educator because it will allow me to not just be an educator but it will allow me to be a leader, be involved and incorporated in the world of education. To show evidence of this I will include some of Nebo School Districts personnel that I could reach out to in the future about helping to improve the social and life skills that are being taught in our schools.
